MOLCAJETE SAN ANDRÉS
Descripción
DESCRIPTION
Present in our culture since pre-Hispanic times, the molcajete is one of the oldest Mexican utilitarian objects.
Our molcajete is a variation of the traditional design, complemented by a wooden base that works as a tortillas plate; two elements made to show off on the table.
The wooden plate is being made using the sectioned wood technique, due to the scarcity of wood of the necessary thickness to make it in one piece. Additionally, we generate less wood waste.
